Most psychologists, including clinical and counseling specialists, need a psychology degree. School psychologists need an educational specialist degree; and industrial-organizational psychologists need a master’s degree. Counselors — including mental health, education, rehabilitation, and substance abuse — and marriage & family therapists (MFT’s) generally need a master’s degree, additional certification and supervised clinical experience. Research all programs offered and pick the one that is right for you.

When we think about people who have law degrees, we envision lawyers arguing cases in courtrooms full of drama and publicity, grilling witnesses and arguing with the judge. In reality, most lawyers, or attorneys, rarely see the inside of a courtroom, and those that do are typically involved in more common court proceedings. For every hour spent in the courtroom, many more are spent doing research, conducting interviews, or writing documents in preparation for litigation. Being an attorney requires excellent communication skills, but it also involves a great deal of paperwork and red tape. Some people with a law degree don’t practice law at all. A law degree opens many doors in the legal field.

I just started a new job as an admissions represenative. I’m working at a small college so, there is a mix of sales to my job as well as guidance of current students. I did not have any expereince in this field. Actually, the only thing that stood out on my resume was my bachelors degree. Our training class as new employees taught me everything I needed to know about the college. Our enrollment numbers are high and, we can’t wait to meet our new students.

One of the greatest names in Ancient Rome’s history is Marcus Tullius Cicero – one of Rome’s greatest orators and philosophers. Thanks to Mark Antony’s intense hartred, he had the misfortune to find himself in triumvirate’s (Octavian, Mark Antony and Lepidus) proscriptions. Octavian was against adding Cicero to the list. First he intended to sail to Macedonia and join the army of Brutus. But he changed his mind. Cicero decided to go back to Rome. He was killed by Roman soldiers near his villa in Formia. Years after, Octavian saw one of his grandsons reading Cicero’s papyrus. The boy tried to hide it. Octavian said: “He was a wise man. A wise man and loved his country”.

Turning ordinary photos into oil paintings is a revolutionary technique nowadays. Creating oil painting from photos does not require long time of posing before an artist for the subject and more work from the artist. Although this requires a shorter time to be completed, painting from photos is equally visually appealing and elegant than portrait paintings done using with live subjects posing before an artist.
Oil paintings from photos are made special especially if they are 100% handmade; thus they require only the best technique and highly skilled artists. Despite of these requirements it is still possible to get a museum-quality oil painting from ordinary photos without spending too much.
Photos from your travel, wedding photos, portrait photos of special people, or even pictures of your pets are few of the subjects that can be used for this technique. Some people would even commission baby portraits, portraits of their cars, and more. The possibilities are actually endless.

We just found this great little video that answers the question: What is a widget?
Widgets used to mean any mechanical part that you didn’t know the name to, so the question “What is a widget” didn’t used to make sense! But today, the term has been co-opted by Internet software enthusiasts. Widgets really fall into three forms, so follow closely:
1. A desktop widget is a simple application that performs a function, like a pop-up calculator.
2. An application widget is a simplified version of a running application, like a “minimized” form so you can see what’s happening.
3. An information widget collects data from the Internet, or other network sources, and presents it graphically and simply.
Now that you know what a widget is, can you guess what a thing-a-ma-jig is?

As far as websites go - Plenty of Fish, Wikipedia, eBay, Google, Amazon, Craig’s List, My Space, YouTube and Ryanair are all perfect examples of ugly websites yet they are all hugely successful. For example, Plenty of Fish earns over $10,000 per day on Google Adsense. That’s over $300,000 per month. Yet when you look at this free online dating site, it is plain, simple and basically an ugly website.
Recently, after reading How to Make Money with Adsense on Grizzly’s How to Make Money Online Blog, I got to thinking about the ugly website concept again and how it relates now to blogs and Google Adsense revenue. I’m not going to go into the details about how Grizzly does it, you can have a read for yourself. But, his blog is certainly a great example of an ugly blog that makes money.

I love personalised number plates. When I am sitting at stop lights, I always look at the plates around me to see if there are any personalised ones to figure out. Some are really difficult in my opinion, only something vehicle owner understands. Some are really simple to figure out. Now Northumbria Numbers offers a website for you to create your own private number plates or personalised car registrations. The site is simple to work with and definitely worth your time to check out.
