Transfer Credit

Many universities policy on transferring academic credits from other institutions rests with the faculty in each subject area. Final approval of these credits toward your degree program rests with your academic advisor. A catalog with course descriptions from each previously attended institution is required to evaluate courses not currently on the university you which to transfer previous credit.

Test out of School

Many students find it difficult to finish school. Students might start in a career in a certain field, and earn a lot of work experience and knowledge in that field. These students might want to consider going back to school, and these days students can test out of school for what they already know.

Test out of College

Regionally accredited schools now offer students the chance to test out of college by demonstrating what they already know. Unlike diploma mills, these legitimate programs require that students prove what they know through rigorous testing.
